Interview with Jeanette Pohlen -- FBC Interview #1

Introducing a SERIES of FBC Interviews

This interview is with Jeanette Pohlen, remembered by many for the miracle game winning basket during the NCAA tournament when she dribbled the length of the floor with only seconds remaining to give Stanford the win against Cincinnati.

Jeanette and teammate Kayla Pederson played in the Final Four for four straight years -- an incredible feat.  Jeanette is still third on the list for career 3 point attempts and baskets made.  After her professional basketball career, Jeanette returned to Stanford last year as the most over-qualified coaching intern in the history of Stanford Women's Basketball.  This year she has assumed the newly created position as Director of Player Development.  It's great to have Jeanette back on the farm.

The current plan is for this Blog to post a series of video and print interviews with Stanford women's basketball current and former players as well as staff (coaches if we get lucky) and perhaps FBC team members and long time fans.  ENJOY!!!
